Tom Dominick is an experienced and innovative lawyer who brings a whole universe of experience and knowledge to each case. Mr. Dominick has been practicing law since 1982. His areas of emphasis are personal injury, criminal defense, family law, water and environmental law, business, and insurance law.
Mr. Dominick received a Master of Laws Degree in Environmental and Water Law from George Washington University’s National Law Center in Washington, D.C. in 1995. During that time, he served an internship in the White House Office of Environmental Policy (now the CEQ).
Mr. Dominick graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree with high honors at Idaho State University in 1978. He then earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho in 1982. He is admitted before the bar of the Idaho Supreme Court, U.S. District Court, U.S. Court of Appeals (9th Circuit), and the U.S. Supreme Court.
In law school, Mr. Dominick was the Lead Articles Editor for the Idaho Law Review. He served a legal clerkship for Judge Schwartzman before moving into a personal injury practice. Mr. Dominick later served as a Deputy Attorney General and drug asset prosecutor for the Idaho Department of Law Enforcement, and also as a criminal prosecutor for Boise City. He later served as a Senior Deputy Attorney General and General Counsel for the Idaho Department of Labor.
Mr. Dominick is a member of the Idaho State Bar, and served as Chair of the Section on Professional Responsibility and Ethics. He is a member of the Fourth District Bar Association, serving as President in 2002-03. He was also a Board Member of the Continuing Education Committee of the Idaho Law Foundation. He served as a board member and corporate secretary for the Boise Valley Credit Union.
Mr. Dominick has tried over 60 jury trials and 300 court trials to date. He is listed in the 2001 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America Consumer Guide and is rated “AV” preeminent (the highest rating) by confidential reviews of lawyers and judges (Martindale-Hubbell).
Tom and Bobbi were married in 1982 and have two children, Samantha and Matthew. Bobbi Dominick is also an attorney, emphasizing Employment Law and Appellate practice.

The federal hate crime law is being used in Idaho to prosecute crimes that are state law crimes, to try to enhance the penalty.
